Most reactions in there are also written in Spanish and Portuguese

Most are in English actually, but yeah, some are in another language, what's your point?

No, they are not.

My point is most of these comments come from latin American countries which are were most intense fans come from, and hardly they are going to say negative stuff

EDIT: I just check and you're right, there's mostly English speaking comments now. But it wasn't like this for the first week after the release of the music video

I still don't get your point. All I said was that on other platforms this song was well received when you look at the reactions. That those comments come from mostly Latin people is not true, but even if it is true, it’s totally irrelevant.

When you replied to this, did you even read edited part? It is relevant in the context of that first week I remembered

Who cares what nationality most reactions come from anyway? Are Latin people’s opinion less valid? Just accept that on other platforms the majority is positive about this song. It’s okay, you’re still allowed to think it sucks.

What an absurd way to turn around my words. I haven't said any of those things you mentioned

Why mention it in the first place then? It doesn't make what I said any less true.

Killing Floor still gets better with each listen. I've heard it more times on the local rock station than all the NITL singles combined.

The song with Iggy was already intriguing, but after hearing that snippet I'm really looking forward to that track. This album is gonna be such a fuckin jam, hope we get another single in April...

Yeah, that’s what I‘m hoping for as well. Another single in April or early May is a safe bet, I guess. Really looking forward to any of those songs and expecting long jam sessions, but after hearing these snippets, The Pusher, Crossroads and the Iggy Pop song sounds the most promising. Even though short snippets like this can be misleading.

No I'm not, I have firsthand accounts.

That's 2nd hand. Frank Sidoris is not Slash, last I checked. And you're choosing to take his statement at face value, which is also a subjective decision you're making. Further, you pointed to your impression of their passion based on live videos. That's extremely speculative.

why would Frank lie about it though? Slash seems to be having a blast with the conspirators on this tour and the poster you're replying to is credible with some connections to the band.

Oh those snippets sound awesome. Great production sound.

The female vocalists always seem to be hard to nail for Slash collabs, but I'll reserve judgement. Seem to easily veer into hammy land.

Sounds like for Crossroads Gary is panned hard left and Slash hard right. I think I'm most excited for that track, even though it's been covered a million and one times... SOME GUITAR INTERPLAY, BABY. Slash's tone sounds perfect on it -- I was really curious how he would approach that song. It's meaty and growly and dry.

Robinson sounds fantastic, too. I'm super excited now.

I'm not talking about his post, I added that because it seemed relevant to what we're talking about. What I've been saying is based on private conversations I've had with in the last month or so with people involved with SMKC. Not going to give any specifics because they're private conversations with friends but I can tell you with absolute certainity that that the idea that Slash's heart is no longer in SMKC and he's just using it as an excuse to tour is 100% false.  The fact is that if he wanted to tour he could go out with them anytime and do it and play the old stuff, he doesn't necessarily need a new record for that (although he has stated in the past that he makes records so that he can tour them but there's more to it than that).

Also the fact that they put together new setlists in 2022 and then made some new changes this year says to me that he (and the band) are very much invested in what they're doing. They made Always on the Run a regular feature and brought back deep cuts like Shots Fired, Bad Rain, No More Heroes, Nothing to Say (in 2022) and Too Far Gone this year. Oh and don't forget Don't Damn Me and Bad Apples too. They could've just kept the general setlist from the LTD tour and swapped in a few songs from 4 but they redid it completely.

This guy gets it^^

Yeah Frank has no reason to lie. They're all very excited to be playing together again. The blues album has nothing to do with Slash being tired of SMKC, it's just another creative outlet. Something different to explore another side of his playing and an opportunity to collaborate with different people who he maybe wouldn't get to otherwise. In some of the interviews that he's done recently about this album he's said that he wanted to do the blues album for a long time and now's he's finally had the chance to put it together. Nothing more to it than that, no deeper meanings or hidden drama. It doesn't sound like it took that long to record everything either, at least the basic instrumental tracks as seen in the video. He probably had to wait longer to do the parts with the guests.

I bet Gibson made it really easy for him to do, too. They probably greased the wheels quite a bit in getting everything in place -- it seems like a major initiative for them from a branding perspective, and to get their label off the ground.
