Like recording some of the greatest hits live instrumentally, Axl could do quick takes of the 5 or so tracks on a separate day or even live with the band if he's feeling it. Because the Vamps have to work around Duff's schedule touring with Guns, which Cooper said in an interview months ago. The Vamps were supposed to play the Chicago 'burbs July 17 and didn't announce a reason for the cancellation. One has nothing to do with the other....nowadays a musician can play a gig in one city one night and play in another city on the complete opposite side of the country the next....
