Axl was phenomenal. I wrote the setlist on my arm, but I see you guys already know what they played. No Adler or Izzy..and no Pittman, and instead there was a girl on keyboards. During Rocket Queen, Duff, Richard & Slash all had solos! Slash was good on Better... he shared solos with Fortus on Chinese Democracy. Double Talkin' Jive was great! Axl said they hadn't played together in 23 years. He also said something about them (Duff & ?) picking the setlist and he was just going with it. The crowd was psyched... I got pushed around and pushed some people around. During Paradise City, Axl had to ask people to back up. Oh, and I don't think Slash said anything all night. They put most people's phones in a locked bag, I did see a few people who managed to get theirs in unlocked. I wasn't even gonna take that chance and left my phone in my car. The show was being recorded though, I saw two camera guys, one in back and one at the front of the stage and then there was a guy next to me in the pit that had a camera the whole show. I was surprised they didn't open with Jungle and that they didn't play Don't Cry. I was stoked they had two CD songs in there. In the balcony, I saw... Andrew Dice Clay, Nic Cage, Lenny Kravitz and Jim Carrey. I got another tshirt, cause this time it says "I was there" on the back.. and I got a numbered poster. I also found a pick on the floor. I saw Guns both nights in Stockholm 91, then tried to watch them in Oslo, (which we all know didn't really work out...) so to see Slash,Duff and Axl together now again is great. Izzy and Duff have already made their peace but with Slash it was more difficult. It's like if they don't hate each other then why aren't they doing GNR for the fans.
