Since the vocals were pieced together from the ChiDem multitracks. But this was just a straight remake/interpretation of the cellphone recording. As for the length, the actual studio version of the song most likely is longer than 3 minutes. In my opinion it’s probably closer to 7 or 8 minutes. Has there been a straight forward reconstruction of the clip? With no added stuff? I'd prefer a as is mp3 with the audio cleaned up without creative changes. You know what I mean? If it's done as is it's 2 minutes of The General nobody's had before. You can't count it as The General if it has vocals and stuff that doesn't belong to the song and that wasn't played at the after party. It doesn't feel right to have what was played and recorded at the party altered. It's like adding Illusion vocals and instruments calling it TWAT. When it's not the authentic TWAT. From what I could hear on the cellphone recording the music to me sounded original. I can't judge on a reconstruction because it's not a true clean up of the audio. If I do that I can faintly hear 2 minutes of The General from the start of the clip to the end of the clip.
