I hope if he's interviewed subsequently, that he opens up more about Chinese Democracy, including CD2 related things, how many songs were "finished", info about unheard tracks, etc. I'm hoping this initial interview "primed" him to ask the big questions next time about the CD era. It was obnoxious when Tommy got pretty political, but that's how it is sometimes with these people, a bit distant from reality or actually grasping the history behind both parties. (Biden doesn't exactly have the best history with minorities, not that Trump is an angel, it's a shit show all around) Now I got political. Have you ever reached out for Bumblefoot? Bet that guy has some very interesting stories. Also it's criminal that "going down" was never officially released.... also I enjoyed the other tommy demo (2) we got. A real punk rocker track. Would have been good to hear live too during those days when Axl would waddle off-stage for hits of the oxygen lol.. pink panther an James bond themes were okay I guess.. No gossipy stuff, but just wtf he has been doing with his time, is he still playing and creating any plans to release anything, views on music industry currently compared to his experience back then, what he's been listening to, any gigs he's been too etc. I enjoyed that period where an album from him would just appear randomly. I seem to remember he dipped out of a South America tour and Duff covered. He also missed the awards do where Axl got an award and a night in Vegas. I’d always assumed in 2014 Axl had made his mind up to reunite with Slash..this would indicate not. Seems Tommy needing Duff to cover was the catalyst. I remember the “chance” encounter Duff had with Axl at the hotel, which led to Duff joining GNR on stage. Word back then was it wasn’t really a chance encounter but more so Duff trying to coordinate a meet and wanting to be back in the band. I think that came from the wrestler guy but idk.
