You don't write u' or r' so why bother with n'? It's Guns N' Roses after all, so that's probably where the habit of writing n with an apostrophe comes from. Silent Jay
Axl should release a new album. If he has something to say other than 'gonna call the president' then release Atlas Shrugged.
Martin Riggs
I personally would recommend that the guy who insisted on releasing OIAM shouldn't inject himself into this kind of thing...it's only going to draw attention to Axl's past that a lot of people probably aren't aware of. I don't think so. He can't undo what he did but he can show he's evolved and make up for his old mistakes by standing up for good causes and against shitty people. I'd like to see Axl use his influence to promote positive changes in people.
cineater
I take it Axl was one of those "not good people" that voted to legalize marijuana in his state.
Pedrolg
All Axl should do is answer something like "I was young, people evolve". There is a reason "One in a million" doesn't get played.

Disclaimer: My next comment is neither for or against Jeff Sessions or Axl Rose Jeff Sessions is currently being judged for comments he made 30 years ago which may or may not have been taken out of context. Axl Rose was previously judged for lyrics that he wrote over 20 years ago that may or may not have been taken out of context. Oddly enough both gentlemen made comments about the same exact topics (immigration and race) that both people have previously stated they wish they had never made. I'm assuming that Axl has done some research on this topic and has more details about JS to make that comment. It would be a shame if he just read the MEMEs on FB and Twitter and made a snap judgment as people did to him 20 years ago. I respect the fact that Axl has the right to his opinion and to voice it. I may not agree with him or his politics but I still respect him as an American and one of the greatest rock frontmen of all time. I always liked how GN'R stayed out of politics, unlike Pearl Jam. Richard Fortus has been pretty vocal on this years election and I fear that it has seeped into the other band members like Axl and Duff. Anyway, there is no hate in my post, just a general observation. . . .
SEPTEM
Mr jeff i think u should watch your words. Youre messing with w. Axl Rose. However.. maybe gnr should have stayed out of politics (IF THEY ARE JUST LOOKIN FOR MONEY LIKE SOME OF U SAY). But aparently theyre all at the same page with this (slash with that tweet the morning after the election and then the "the idiot" shirt, axl with this, etc).. But thats the thing with GNR, they do what they want to no matter what. And thats one of the things that makes them who they are. Is easy just to stay out of everything and just give people and media what they want ( u know, like metallica, bon jovi, stones, etc etc). But as far as i know. Rebellion, anti wrong goverment, loud, anti war, open mouth..well say what u think and defend it ( among other things) is what rock n roll is all about right??? Some people (some civilians, politics, "rock" bands, GNR FANS) doesnt seem to remember that tiny little detail. I honestly dont know if trump is good or bad or if hilary ditto.. I mean .. I might have an opinion, but since i live outside u.s.a it feels very disrespectfull to talk about that. Its really not my place. Anyway ...being right or not.. Thanks GN'R FOR KEEPIN IT REAL

BorderlineCrazy
Come on, guys! We all know Axl has made thousands (maybe millions) of mistakes, we've discussed them all here in the forum I believe. This time he's criticizing an old anti-marijuana dinosaur and he gets shit for it? Well, fine, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm glad he's speaking up against assholes like this guy. Go get 'em, Axl!

I'd love to see Axl Rose use his unique musical talent & his uncanny capacity to express his thoughts and feelings to write, record, release and perform NEW music along with Izzy Stradlin, Slash, Duff Mckagan and a drummer (yes, my suggestion is Steven Adler). I am kinda sure that would promote positive changes in (millions of) people.
