Tour Lithographs and show specific artwork

Recommended Posts

It sucks if you have a pit ticket and get there when the gates open if you are trying to get a Litho, after the gates open you have to wait on another line in order to get a wristband, and by the time that is over there is a good chance the Lithos are going to be sold out as there are not alot of them, not sure if anyone had this issue

Artist: Luiz Berger

Notes: The lithograph contains various Kentucky references such as Kentucky bourbon whiskey, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Fayette County Courthouse.

The figure eating the chicken is modeled after the highlighted figure from the cover of the 'Use Your Illusion' albums.

The overall composition is an homage to the theatrical film poster for the 1967 Lee Van Cleef western 'Death Rides a Horse'.

Gotta say, i find the litho pretty tasteless.  What does the person hanging from a tree represent to Kentucky?  If it was lifted off the movie poster I'd get it.  But its not.

I didn’t notice that, pretty dark

Wow, it is really tasteless indeed.

Artist: Ilham Nugroho

Notes: The lithograph combines the artist's iconic psychedelic style with a vaporwave aesthetic and features the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Axl's skull on that Hollywood litho looks like a bad AI generated image. The lithos on this leg of the tour have been very hit or miss...

So the Hard Rock Live Hollywood Florida (Friday’s show) has a “no re-entry” policy.

Don’t believe them next time. :)

After we went in and bought our posters and shirts, my girlfriend went to the “ticket assistance” desk (it was called something else) and asked if she could go out and drop the posters off in our room and get back in. She was told to ask the Operations Manager (who was right there on the floor) so she asked, and the gal just scanned her iPhone again to apparently de-activate her ticket, she went out, up to the room, and right back in with no problems.

Probably helps to be a girl, but don’t just buy the “no re-entry” policy at face value. Sometimes all you have to do is ask.

Artist: Pat Halloran

Notes: Biloxi Lighthouse was built in 1848 and has not only been declared an official Mississippi landmark, but has also been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Due to its significance as an icon of the Gulf Coast, its image can be found in numerous places and was even included on Mississippi license plates until 2012.

The lithograph features a fresnel lens, typically found in lighthouses to help reduce the amount of glass required to create the desired directional light.
