That intro?  Since when?  Fucking nostalgic.

I have the same question, I saw some other videos of the intro with guitar only but when Axl started singin "he lies right at you" man that was unexpected! The part sounds like straight from the UYI tour

It was awesome hearing it...we were all watching the streams and were like did we hear what we just thought we heard?!

The facebook page posted this video of the band walking to the stage before the show. It's just so amazing to see that even after 15 months back together they're all happy, chilled and getting along, all walking together, laughing and interacting. And it's pretty crazy to see Slash turn around to specifically put his arm around and hug Beta right before he hits the stage. It's a long way from the 2006 nightime drunk encounter between the two; Beta and Axl relaying everything Slash said publicly and possibly causing the beginning of the end for VR; not to mention MSL's call with Beta where she ranted non-stop about Slash and VR.

Fuck Beta. Fat fuck.

Amazing show! You could really see the band enjoying themselves, the chemistry was crazy! KOHD intro was a nice surprise and that encore, man oh man!

But honestly, I'm glad that I didn't pee myself from excitement, both figuratively and literally from lining up for 10hrs

Axls walking with his new gnr posse, duff and slash hanging back while beta walks behind herding them along lol

Never heard of it? :o I'll reply in the Women's Thread, because it's too off topic here.

It is crazy but so amazing to see. I'm very happy to see them all getting along.

It's clear they (Axl/Slash/Duff) all get along, although obvious that Slash/Duff are still the tightest.  The Slash/Beta thing is odd, but it bodes well for any GnR future.  Lets be honest- as Beta goes Axl goes.  GnR is more $$$$$, so most likely Beta will steer Axl that way.

Really pisses any fan off. If Beta could have talked some sense to Axl and seen the situation from a fans perspective we could have had axl and slash reconvene sooner. Instead of the nanny and her son getting into public spats with Slash when the whole situation is none of her business. Sorry to derail and otherwise good show review.

Let's be honest, if money were the main reason, as you are saying, this would have happened a long time ago. Maybe she just let things settle down, she just respected and understood him...as a person who lives almost daily with him, she only respected the human being behind the idol .. Because many of us as fans, we are unable to do. As fans we are always seeking our own needs, we often want what makes us happy no matter what the main "stakeholders" feel about it, what matters is what we want...And let's be honest again, many of us give a fuck how they felt or what they wanted, what we wanted was/is just what suited our needs..So to keep things running healthily, I think it's important to have people like her and her family around him, even if she is criticized and hated by many of us...

This is typical music business behaviour - as long as things are working fine everyone is friends with one another - money can heal a lot of wounds in that case. We will see how tight they really are as soon as we have the first crisis or when the excitement of  the first years is gone...

I'll be seeing Guns N' Roses for the third time in a few days. I saw them in 2006 and 2010. I'm not trying to be a negative nancy but vocals are shit on so many songs. Is it just me? I'm hoping it will sound better at the show. Axl sounded awesome in both shows I've seen so far.

He's really slacking off. It's so ironic people bithed about his vocals for years but now he's getting praise just becasue they're playing stadiums and Slash is there. I haven't listened to all the songs but from what I have I think he's singing like 2011-2013, worse at times, and worse than 2014. I may be wrong.

I don't want to bitch, just wanted to share my opinion. Some of the vocals are really not up to standards. It's not how you sing those songs. And it's not just about rasp either, it's the whole deal. It's so whiny and weak.

I don't know, we'll see at the show.

I really don't like the way Fortus plays the rhythm on Used To Love her.. It is just a simple 3 chord DAGA progression that works and he adds in that little run that just throws it off.  That said, overall that was still the best performance of the song I have seen this tour. The tempo, was good, as were Axl, Slash and Duff.  It was a lot closer to the old school vibe. Thumbs up.

You'll be shocked by how good it is. I felt similar way before the show. Now, I'm totally converted ;)
