Are they waiting for people to react to it to see if it's worth putting the effort in promoting it any further? is it some really personal subject matter in the song that doesn't feel fun to promote? they're planning to promote it at some further date in the future because they have more plans? it's a curious decision. and why now, and why with Perhaps? Is it just a random opportunity, or is the General and Perhaps somehow connected (or complete opposites) in theme?
