Nosaj Thing
I'm sad Spain went home but they have no one to blame but themselves. Croatia deserved to win as that foul at 118' was unfair, plus Denmark won against Peru so they had to go.

Vindaloo is alright, there's an ugly barking un-musical quality to it that i find appealling on some vague level. It’s about lager and curry, and England scoring a goal, maybe. It’s like fuck football let’s get lashed. Which I respect wholeheartedly.

Ace Nova
Mexico had 2-3 clear shots at goal from right outside the box but instead of taking the shot, they keep dribbling to get a better look, then Brazil immediately closes the gaps. Mexico should be taking any shot they get against Brazil.

Len Cnut
Neymar needs an oscar for that, i thought the cunt had done himself a serious mischief until that replay.
Graeme
Neymar must be up there with Matt Damon, Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise as one of the most highly paid actors in the world.

It ain't cheating if you can get away with it. In fact I think you kind of have to be the kind of person who will step on people to be successful in this world. I mean top drawer successful, it requires a sort of self involved viciousness. And, on this sort of platform, with this much on the line, you're almost obliged to do it if you can get away with it. Neymars example is a little poor in that regard but like, I dunno, say you dive to get a penalty and then penalty wins the world cup for your country...how can you not dive? How can you look your teammates in the face afterwards? Its a fuckin' massive historic thing to win the world cup. From age 8 these kids lives are about football football football, they give up so much and their whole lives the dream is to do things like win the league title or the champions league or the world cup. How can you not do it? The honourable tend to get left behind, by and large. The win at all costs types are the ones that get on, especially in something like sports. He was still technically fouled though, it was a red card after the replays. His playacting, aside.
DieselDaisy
Mexico didn't really do anything. All of their attacks just rather petered out into nothingness.

Just remember I'm watching this as someone who spends the majority of his time watching Scottish football, and say what you like about the quality of our game but there's little sympathy or tolerance for players who go down easily up here. Watching all these players who've been taught all their lives to go down like they've taken a bullet, holding body parts that had nothing to do with the collision just looks pathetic and dishonest by comparison, you're lying to yourself, your teammates, your opponents. Just be an honest sportsman and win or lose by the fucking rules of the game.
DieselDaisy
It just looks embarrassing. Probably the thing I hate most about football, the endless play acting.

Not sure which broadcast you were watching, but it was a blatant red card on replays.

To play devil's advocate. It was a blatant red card according to the ref they asked here in the post match, that they didn't even go to VAR over. If Neymar hadn't rolled around like he had been attacked by a shark, most wouldn't have even noticed it.
