Sounds about the same but with a tighter tuned snare... And more fills. Guarantee if Taylor was in GnR and playing like he did here, he would get the same bull that Frank gets.

Cool to this sort of thing though! 😀

Uh no, Taylor Hawkins has long been a well respected drummer.  I really try not to directly disrespect Frank much anymore.  But Taylor Hawkins is a world class drummer....Frank, well he is not.

Where's all the people who were moaning about Axl's vocals now? ha

I mean, I'm fine with Axl's modern voice, but him singing 'It's So Easy' well doesn't really prove anything about his voice. That's one of the songs he's consistently very good on at every show.

Although in all fairness, I used to think Nightrain was a song he couldn't mess up, but then Berlin 2018 happened...

my comments:

Rare sighting of Slash’s eyes at 2:17...almost lost his sunglasses! We see him without a top hat and almost got to see him with no glasses! Nuts

the quick screen shots were great! Added energy and seeing Axl in a bandana with them is incredible

great choice of song, high energy great vocals and fun

it never gets old seeing Axl bring the audience to a frenzy when he shows up! Way cool

Axl in other bands sounds good as fuck

in his own, it seems like he doesn't care.

The shoemaker's son always goes barefoot.
Casa de ferreiro, espeto de pau.

we can speculate a lot of reasons for that

is that because he knows that he has "axl fans" that are really forgiving and will stuck by him even when he sucks big time?

is it because he knows that 80% of the people who go to the shows are casuals that dont really care and will watch the show from a very big distance and dont really care?

is it because the session players he hired to GNA dont play well enough to move him?

is it because he is sick and tired of singing the same songs for 30 years?

Although he always seems to kill it with It's So Easy even on Guns shows, it is mostly his lower voice and he always goes for rasp on the "fuck off" and the outro parts

Would be cool if they swapped Black Hole Sun for a Foo Fighters song if Dave joins them again. What are the odds he makes an appearance?

Hell yeah.. Retire BHS
