El Guapo Posted September 11, 2022 Share Posted September 11, 2022 (edited) Axl realizes that the remaining CD tracks are not good enough for a final GnR album, he gets together with the band plus Izzy to write a new album in 3 months. Problems occur during the writing process because Frank can't find the groove, Axl, Slash Duff and Izzy decide to get in touch with Steven Adler. He rejoins for the recording sessions, the magic is back, the record gets released in November 2023. It's called "GNfR!". A massive world tour is announced. Izzy is not having it so they get Gilby for rhythm guitar with Izzy as the occasional guest. Or nothing maybe. Axl makes a surprise appearance on Appetite 4 Distortion where he gives a 3 hour f’n explanation as to why he thought it was okay to drop an N bomb in 2022. Just like 1988, it makes little to no sense, and doesn’t fly. People with blue hair begin to picket outside his house. Beta arms the ‘young roadie’ grandkids with AR15s. Brando is also cancelled by proxy. He drafts in Doug Goldstein to help write his own autobiography now he’s off the air. Neither autobiography’s are finished, as neither are writers. Slash distances himself from GNR, and starts his Cameo account. He spends 22 hours a day, 7 days a week, wishing fans ‘happy birthday’, charging $1000 per message. After 5 years, he manages to pay off 2% of the settlement he owes Perla after the divorce. Steven appears on Eddie trunk to back Axl up. Steven is not cancelled as no one really cares enough to make the effort. To fans surprise, Izzy remains uncharacteristically silent and does not comment. In 2025 he posts a YouTube cover of ‘in the summertime’ by Mungo Jerry, filmed on a Nokia 3410.
