Dust and Bones comes to mind and I think maybe I Don't Care About You and Buick Macain. But sitting to record vocals is unusual and his vocals would also likely be done in the vocal both we see Myles in. And that type of mic isnt the ideal choice for vocals in a studio setting (although it can and is used for that application from time to time). Mainly: it doesnt have a pop filter/ screen. I agree its likely a mic that hasn't been placed yet. Or its also possible it is the mic he uses to communicate with the people in the control room.
