Just got home guys,,,show was KILLER.. and Madagascar ! WOW TWAT too... especially Axl's vocals on Maddy were awesome. Great crowd looked like a sellout the upper decks were full.  Tried to scope a bit, I see you guys found me. :headbang: Wanted to give back a bit since this was my 4th and final show. Did my best!  Still soaking it all in,  It has been quite the ride.  Most likely the last show for me on this tour unless tickets fall from the sky.  I am feeling the love for this band tonight!!

Watched some of your periscope stream, thank you!! 😆😆

Put another way:

Original songs: 23

Covers: 9

Solos: 1

Very few bands that I see play 23 original songs. I'll take it.

Not to mention that four of those covers include Slash's Godfather solo, Live and Let Die, KOHD and Attitude - all staples of GNR setlists since their heyday. A fifth is Wish You Were Here, which is also just a jam spot. No need for complaints here.

But the question remains...

...who played the Madagascar intro...

Melissa or Dizzy?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I feel like it was piped in but hopefully I'm wrong and Melissa/Dizzy played it live.

Too bad Slash basically took a nap during that song. It really could have been elevated with some Slash guitar heroics.

Yup

Perfect Crime, Slither, You're Crazy, and Think About You were alternates this tour. Chinese Democracy is great, but EVERY new Guns surprise song since last April has been a Chinese song when this tour is all about Duff and Slash returning. Looks a bit bad imo.

Still, its better than nothing and at least this show is a little different.

@Tom-Ass won't be happy with a 5 CD song set lol

Not at all man... I was trying... I came to peace with 3 songs.. I even tried and tried to give the songs a chance and eventually had some appreciation for "Sorry".. 5 CD songs is a joke though.. The album isn't that good.. That is almost as many songs as they play off Appetite.. Every new song they play is a CD song.. The set list is now about 50% covers and CD songs... Not what I dreamed out for the past 23 years waiting for my band to get back together..

Maddy sounds good, but I was hoping they'd actually change it with Slash.

Meh...

I always thought the song had potential.. It isn't a bad song but ruined by all the samples and shit.. They should have just omitted all that garbage. It just sounded like a hot mess.
