rocknroll41
Cool, but whatever happened to Zack’s solo record that he’s been working on since 2000? Is it finished yet?
soon
The first legit publication to verify the story is Forbes. Let that sink in. I love that they are playing shows along the US/Mexico border

estrangedtwat
I saw Zach in person once in LA around 2003. Really shy. Had rather dirty teeth. Never saw RATM, but in their prime they put on fucking ferocious shows. I'd go see them even now for old time's sake. Tom Morello seems to have defied aging...dude still looks great. appetite4illusions
Are they making new music? The last time they reunited, they got on their high-horse about not doing that, which is a real eye-roller. They just started an unverified Insta with some dates listed (not even venues in some cases). The account seemed confirmed when actress Juliette Lewis liked the post, since she dates Wilk. And then a band employee verified the account to Forbes magazine. Weirdest. Rollout. Ever. I dont get the impression that new music is coming. Just some dates to agitate in the lead up to the 2020 election. That and a Coachella sized pay day to keep em in anarcho-communist mansions until next time. I'd love to see Rage live again

They talked about having a great time on tour but having a miserable time in the studio so they decided they won't recording anything to not ruin relationships again I wonder if they'll change their minds now

username
Awesome! I really loved seeing them in 2008. Really great gig. If they tour Europe I'd definitely go see them again. I'd also love to hear what they have to say about current world politics. But I don't think they'll record.

nycgunner
This is the most exciting thing in music (at least for me) in 2020. Listening to Battle of Los Angeles now. What a fucking album. Politically, I rarely aligned with them, but I respect the passion and their purpose. Could be incredibly compelling given what’s happening in the US and around the world. Powerage5
I'm going to do some show, not sure what yet though. Buffalo likely won't work as I'll still be in Spain 2 days before, so I'm looking at other options. Cleveland makes the most sense, but I've got a friend coming up from Costa Rica that's trying to convince me to do MSG with him.
