Either they didn't know about the encore, or they wanted to beat the traffic jam that would happen once the show ended. Said they delivered far and above people’s expectations: “Unbelievable performance”. I’m sure there will be plenty of people on here excited to dispute that and talk about lack of “rasp”, “Mickey Mouse” vocals etc. I don’t have the stamina to argue back over that garbage. You win. He said “jet leg” not “lag” and pretended to limp or something. Got there at 4 and seriously wondered if I’d be able to endure that heat. Lots of free waters from security, and people were walking around spraying water too. This was probably a top 3 Guns show for me. It was great. Axl blew those performances away by a long shot tonight! He was great. This was my 26th time seeing GN’R and first time hearing: (Bad Obsession,PTU,HardSkool,Perhapse,Down on the Farm,& Reckless Life.) 6 songs, gotta love it! Good times! Solid show, Glad I made the last minute trip. I have one more show this summer at Busch Stadium. The show is 3 hours so I guess I can understand why people would try to beat traffic. After spending most of the time on the highway above 90-100mph, driving 3+ hours, and being full of piss to my eyeballs…….we made it 20 minutes before GNR started! Fantastic show. Band was top notch compared to when I last seen them in 2021 at summerfest in Milwaukee. The band seemed to be in great spirits despite the heat. Plenty of jokes from Axl as well. Sadly, fresh out of event t’s and lithos. If anyone has any they’d part with that aren’t eBay prices-let me know!!! I ain’t rich. Had to settle for the bootleg t’s for now! Glad we made the trip. I couldn't care less if it takes me a couple of extra hours to get home. I couldn't possibly leave a GNR gig. Hell, a lot of time over the Nu-GNR era I ended up sleeping in bus shelters and train stations!
