I'm waiting for the stage times too, can't see them on the website or app. I have written in the Copenhell post under the 2023 World Tour section that if someone from here wants to meet up there, I'm up for it! I think there's one more person here who is going (could be more but they haven't made themselves known)
2020_Intensions
For those with all the bootleg knowledge need some help ... Used to be an awesome live version of Coma on YT before "the purge" ... All I remember was it was titled as being from '93 (although that could be inaccurate) and at the beginning Axl was making a joke about how they're being "professional" or something to that effect for the crowd ... Any idea what show?

mystery
Went from listening to Scott Joplin ragtime to wondering how Axl took up piano and found this radio interview I never heard. The story is interesting but his voice is also the deepest I've heard it.

ssiscool
So the Reunion has been going almost as long as the original run now. Jan 18 1986 - July 17 1993 = 2737 days Apr 01 2016 - May 31 2023 = 2616 days Just 121 days. Mad when you look at it that way 1

Axl said in the Brazilian TV Interview he tried calling slash while he was on tour in south America, which was in March that year

Was awesome news and I remember the forum getting a bit excited 😂 During that time the band went super quiet and rumours started to build momentum. Can easily find it on YouTube 👍🏼 So I’d guess between late 2014 and early 2015

Yeah, sometimes I still think how low the odds were that Axl and Slash would ever appear on the same stage again. That in itself was a miracle.
Popular Post BucketEgg
Maybe I've said this before, but I am so glad that Guns N Roses fans have their own websites to meet-up on the internet, and that the fans are also very active on these fan-owned sites. it's way better than trawling through twitter or instagram or tiktok or discord and those other platforms. It's so easy to find each other, and search for old stuff. And if you're away for some time, you don't have to worry about missing out on reactions to something happening, because of site-algorithms determining a topic isn't hot anymore. It's so easy to click a few pages back, and read the stuff. And the ability to post long text is just great. I feel like long-text should be something standard to internet fandoms, but the way people are so happy to congregate on places where long text can't be placed, or it's a pain to attempt to do it, it isn't! Once I came across this place, it hit me how cramped and/or disorganised those popular social media platforms are. I feel like long-text should be something standard to internet fandoms, but the way people are so happy to congregate on places where long text can't be placed, or it's a pain to attempt to do it, it isn't! Once I came across this place, it hit me how cramped and/or disorganised those popular social media platforms are. There has been a shift from more long-form online platforms for social interacting to the short-form platforms we have today (twitter, discord, snapshat, FB, instagram, etc). Back in the early days you had stuff like Usenet which encouraged longer posts and where discussions thrived (compared to, say, IRC for chatting), and message boards (like mygnrforum) were much more common than they are today. Basically, we have gone from sharing knowledge and information to sharing opinions. To be somewhat critical, I would claim that people are less interested in learning new things and having their opinions challenged than finding out what other people feel and think so they can position themselves on the "right side", whatever that is. It is more about taking the right side, than taking the right side, if you get my meaning. It is all about tribalism and staying with your group. And Twitter is perfect for this, because you can easily express an opinion over 140 characters but much less share some detailed argument for why you believe what you believe. So we scroll our days away to always appear to have the right opinions. Obviously, I am not a fan of this trend, as my long-assed posts also indicate. I also tend to see it in a broader perspective where the great strength of humanity is not the brilliance of individuals, but how we can accumulate knowledge and information and pass it on to others. We overcome our individual weaknesses by simply learning from the accumulated efforts of those before us. We are the hivemind. We don't have to be great when we can simply benefit from great minds before us. This is dependent upon the efficient sharing of information, information than can be indexed and retrieved. Obviously, most social platform of today were never meant for this purpose, but in the early days of Internet - which we thought would facilitate a democratization of information and not just making it a resource to the academics and intelligentsia - it did seem like it would become a fantastic tool for this, until it turned out people aren't really that interested in facts and data, but bite-sized opinions. This doesn't mean these platforms have disappeared, but they tend to remain mostly used by a subset of the population, the same people that in the pre-Internet days did engage in writing articles for newspapers, discussing subjects on conferences, etc. It is a bit dismaying, and probably naive of me, to think it would end up differently.
