My point is it's normal they're selling badly right now because the album is not even out yet, lol

It obviously isn't normal though, which is why the promoters are selling them at a heavy discount.

If it was the normal trajectory of gig sales they absolutely wouldn't be doing that.

They know what they're doing a lot more than we do.

Checked those $25 tickets for LA on the Livenation website. There are a lot of big names, both new and old like Janet Jackson, Vampire Weekend, The Kid Laroi, Blink 182, Missy Elliott, JLo, St. Vincent, Kings of Leon, Santana, Creed, Jelly Roll, Slipknot, Kygo...

Seems like they put those for any shows that weren't instant sellouts

I have a friend who has been making fun of me for buying front row seats for around $400 and now these tickets are on sale for $25. Clearly not the same type of seat, but it is kind of embarrassing, 😆. I tried to tell him I was getting a signed record and early entry, and that just made it worse, 😆.

Live Nation is doing a promotion this week with the $25 tickets. They are doing this for the cheap GA seats for tons of shows and a lot of big name artists. They aren't discounting tickets due to sales for a tour that hasn't started yet and album that hasn't come out yet.

That said, it isn't selling great yet but that doesn't mean it won't. I am sure sales will pick up once the album comes out and they start promoting the tour more. He may not be selling venues out, but I am sure the turnouts will be decent come show time. Can't f'n wait!!

Personally, I'm holding out because $77 is too much IMO. I'd pay that for a bigger act like GNR or AC/DC but I'm hoping I can hold out and get something more like $50 closer to showtime.

Every ad I’ve seen for the tour looks more like a music festival than a Slash show, and also minimizes Slash’s name in favor of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. branding. That can’t be doing them any favors.

edit: And I know Slash is branding this as a festival, but a single stage festival with 4-5 bands is just a show with a lot of openers in reality. But I think the festival image of it all is making people less interested. I know a lot of people who all write festivals off as bad sound, short sets, too crowded, or all three lol

LP shipping labels have been printed. Should have it in hand no later than Monday, probably this Saturday!!!

I’ve ordered a CD but I really hope it arrives on Friday and not a single day later.

Not a fan of this one. Not for any real reason other than there's so many versions of this song out there. Also that first solo is note-y af, but I love the second one.

I like it, but I do prefer Guns N' Roses' rendition from recent tours
