Maybe he called Axl to lay down sone piano parts  imagine our disappointment.

Maybe this is some kind of Paul McCartney type situation on that one Foo Fighters album where they revealed they have Paul McCartney guest on the album..but it's him playing DRUMS lol.

Paul was the best drummer in The Beatles, don't you know?

(No disrespect intended towards Ringo, who was good in his own right).

Between this and Slash's upcoming album (in which I'd say odds are decent enough that he got Axl to sing on a track), we'll soon be able to piece together a hypothetical new Guns N' Roses album!

Being discussed in the last few pages of the New Album thread (discussion starts here), but that thread is for general new music (and random) discussion and it's very likely that this new information is not related to new GN'R music, so it's better to have a separate thread for it.

So, Axl did a recording session at Metropolis studios in London last night with producer/engineer Michael Voss (apparently Voss flew to London from Germany just for that session).

A few weeks back, Voss also recorded Slash with Michael Schenker in a studio in Frankfurt. Apparently Voss is Michael Schenker's producer and the session with Slash was for the new Michael Schenker album.

Any reputable drummer will tell you Ringo seriously underrated - but if you know, you know

No release date for this one yet??

Reckon we can Frankenstein an album post this coming out. 4 reunion singles + potential 2 more by year end. So we got 6 (big maybe!) album tracks...then Schenker Axl vocal track, add in the Duff solo track which Slash is on (gives it more GNR creds) and we have 8 tracks. Pick a couple of the strongest instrumentals from the village tracks and intersperse then throughout the album. 10/11 track disc...add a few of the officially released live tracks and Rock The Rock as bonus tunes and we have a fan album! May be closest we get (for a long while!)....
