You might miss out

Really? Does Slash usually sell theaters out? I haven't seen him since 2015 outside of GNR and I remember getting a ticket the day of for like 15 bucks. These are like 50-90 before fees

My personal thought is that this will be much bigger than anything with Myles and company.. Hell I am a huge Slash fan and I don't even go to those anymore.. Plus there are some pretty decent names on the bill.

Yeah I stopped going to the SMKC shows, too. Not because they are bad, I just felt like I got my fix and was good with just GNR for a while. I really am pumped for this. I just bought Sting tickets which were a lot, but I guess what is a little more for this, too

I'm actually going to pass, for now. The show in Toronto lands in the middle of a long weeknd. Will grab tix last minute if I'm around (and they are reasonable)

Edit- the show is the weekend prior to the long weekend. Decisions....

Holy moly I’m jealous you bastards. While we were speculating about if he’s gonna be the opening act for someone, he just decided to be the main act on his own festivals throughout the States. Nice move Slash.
Of course this raises hope for something similar during the european shows, but I can’t imagine that. Still curious what those will be like.

I do hope he has an acoustic song on this record. If the timestamps on the wikipedia page are to be trusted, I am really fired up. Lots of long songs which will no doubt have some great blues jams

I do wish the tour was in smaller venues, but I get why it is the way it is. The theater my show is at seats 5,000 at a casino. A club in Detroit or a small ampitheater would have been better. Oh well, it is a small critique!

Is he definitely going to do Europe? I can see this being a short US run and that's it.

Got ticket for The Greek! This is the day after my birthday.

Kind of wish I would have waited a bit for the vinyl, now I got two signed.

So stoked! I wonder if we will get more Snakepit stuff Jazz Da Pit, Good 2 B Alive, Beggars, Serial Killer, Life Sweet Drug, Been There Lately are some stuff I'm hoping to hear or even some obscure GnR. Would love Back Off Bitch, Bad Obsession, Locomotive, Shotgun Blues (?)

Of course the new album in its entirely, hopefully some Slash solo, would love to hear We Are All Going to Die.

Not all entirely blues, but hoping for some rocking stuff as well.

So stoked about no Wichita Lineman, Live and Let Die, KOHD, and Rocket Queen (fingers crossed)!!!

Isn't it a blues show, based on his new album? I can't see him playing any of that stuff really....

If this is successful (which I think it will be) he will probably do it again. Add it to his rotating list of projects.

Well, either I read it somewhere or I heard him mention it recently. He wanted to make a world tour for this record.

Perhaps, pure speculation and wishful thinking about they could pull off going back to Slash repertoire.

The Snakepit albums and stuff like Bad Obsession and Locomotive are very bluesy driven and I'm sure some people will want/expect some GnR.

I'm sure there will be some rocking stuff Repertoire. Doubt it will be only the new album that they play.

We'll get a better idea of the direction after he releases a 2nd single. It seem like a good chance to go all balls out without the GnR staples and SMKC on his back.

Scored 3rd row center seats for the Boston show on presale so really pumped for this concert

They didn't make it easy to find the presale codes before the presale and Slash online did not send them out until 17 minutes into the presale so most of the affordable front center section seats were long gone. A bit of a cluster.

Hope everyone who wanted got tix and see you there!

Personally, I can't see it, looking at the band and the other acts on.

I don't think people want/expect GNR really- they don't get it with SMKC especially (he does one GNR song) and this does seem to be going down a very different route.

If people want GNR or SMKC, those things are out there touring frequently so I'd imagine he's going to see this as a chance to move away from all that stuff entirely.

Will be interesting to see what he does, for sure though! I'm wondering if with the whole 'festival' thing Slash's set may be shorter than it would be regularly.

Envious of people getting to go to this!
