megaguns1982
That song sucked pretty badly. Surely it’s just a thrown together thing for the cartoon. Axl sounds good though....
appetite4illusions
He needs to do more funny things like this, it's a blast to watch. Some kind of cartoon webseries wouldn't be a bad idea. Kind of like Mike Tyson Mysteries.

Popular Post Rapidfire
For those saying it sucks, please keep in mind this is for a cartoon. It's simple and catchy. It has to strike a balance. You can't expect the depth of Coma to be in it. That will be too depressing to animate and before you know it, Axl will be blamed by the increase in suicide rate among children. 1 1
KeyserSoze
I just want to add: with what limited knowledge I have of music in the tv/movie industry, I don’t think its either band. The mosy likely situation to me here is the writers wrote a storyboard for a classic-rock themed episode as you can see from the title of the show “Armageddon Outta Here.” The music for TV shows is either written or recorded or pre-recorded songs are chosen, all of this typically done by one person for a flat fee per episode. But all of this has to be done AFTER the episode is written obviously. *somehow axl got involved along the way* thats the biggest mystery here. Given the last Loney Toones episodes aired in October was it? I’d say the episode was written and the song was written and recorded sometime in the last 2 months. Ace Nova
I like it. Simple, straightforward, old school rock song. Axl sounds great, the lead guitar sounds very good. Definitely influenced by AC/DC (if it's not AC/DC playing).

NicDwolfwood
What an unlikely surprise. The first studio vocal performance from Axl in over a decade comes from a Looney Tunes episode. Goofy little tune, but Axl sounded pretty good on it I must admit. IncitingChaos
It cost a lot of money and time to get a singer in a studio and have it mixed properly by his people. My guess is Axl was already making a move into the studio on a given date, and this idea for the cartoon came along after he booked a trip to the studio. More than likely gnr got permission to use the looney toons theme for their tour. Later the writers probably pitched an idea of an episode to Axl’s people. Axl to their surprise agreed and told them what dates he’d be available in the studio. Good news, you typically don’t go to the studio to record vocals for one song then call it a day. Axl May have been working during his breaks this tour.
Bailey96
Kind of odd but a great Christmas surprise and axl doesn’t sound too bad on it. I personally don’t think the guitar is slash or angus btw.
gunsguy
We will know everything soon enough. some websites list details about music, guest appearances etc after air date. Since it already aired I think we should have that info pretty fast
Amir
My guess is the writers wrote the episode and a song for the show, and had session musicians perform the song. They have a list of celebrities they'd want to guest on the show, Axl agrees, and it sounds like him on the low and high backing vocals but not on lead. Axl_morris
Remember the loony tunes intro was used in the first few legs of the NITL introduction... I think this was written for Axl specifically. Edited December 26, 2018 by Axl_morris
