Alexmee239
Great show, and the best "first" show since 2017. Tour seems promising!
ChristianGNR
That’s a solid first show, indeed. Specially when you remember the forum updates from Bridge School 2012, Rio 2017, Berlim 2018 shows.

Axl_morris
Pretty solid for a first show and a good 3 hours. For us die hards i'd still want to hear at least one of the following deepcuts, especially in Europe.. There was a time Prostitute Locomotive Then it will be a truly special show. Also, Don't Cry should be played every night. Edited June 4, 2022 by Axl_morris

Axl_morris
So naturally, they add songs in as the tour grows. I'd expect those songs to be Whitchita Seeker Don't cry Madagascar Unlikely but possible Locomotive There was a time my michelle Edited June 4, 2022 by Axl_morris

AxlRoseCDII
Killer first show. Watched a lot of it. Band shook up the setlist and had some fun! Only missing variable is if there’ll be any new songs like Slash said, hoping we see something on the alt list. Regardless, it’s a good time to be a fan of this band. We won’t always have GNR forever so let’s cherish them. 1 1 1 1
Popular Post SAU3R
So my subjective takeaways from this show, solely based on streams that I watched: - first of all very good first show, definitely no Berlin, Monterrey or Hershey - Axl is absolutely fit, looking great for 60 years old. Did some good sprints during Civil War and Patience outro. Also seems to be in good spirits and did a lot of crowd interaction today, nice to see! - Frank keeps getting better, he fits in quite nicely - Richard is the best guitarist in GNR and plays way more tasteful solos than Slash imo (and now go gimme that ban) - setlist is much better than last year. They rearranged quite some bits of it. I actually like Walk All Over You, even though I always want to get rid of most covers. Duffs song is just there so people can go to the toilet. Reckless Life, HS, Absurd and YC (fast) are awesome additions (although not all new). Still would love to see some other rarities being thrown in (TWAT, PTU, maybe SOD) - Better needs to be dropped, play Maddy instead or just anything else actually, it’s just horrendously bad at this point - I’d love to see some new songs, I think we might get them at some point, they tried out some things today and are gonna try out other things later this tour, I’m sure - Axl‘s voice is a mystery: low range is great as always, mid range is sometimes strong (SCOM) sometimes Mickey (RQ). When he has to sing a lot of notes without breathing in his Mickey voice, it tends to crack and get to that unhealthy sounding mid range rasp which he cannot sustain for more then a couple of seconds. That happened especially during Coma and Better. The high range is there, high notes on RQ outro, Better bridge, ISE outro were quite good. However the sharpness and edge is completely gone, the voice sounds flat and muffled.. I definitely expect them to get even stronger during the next couple of shows but I fear that it’s gonna be a long and exhausting tour (43 dates to go this year) especially for Axl, I hope his voice holds up Thanks to everybody that posted the stream links in here, esp @cineater! We are in 2022. The only reason I'm going is because they're going to my town, nothing else. Yes, I imagined listening to a new album nowdays too... Screamin' Demon
I've got to say, that is a KILLER SHOW! Reckless Life, Coma, Shadow of Your Love, Absurd, You're Crazy (Fast Version) - that'd be somethin' fresh for me, that's for sure! Now if I was assured a show like this, plus an add-in of Sorry or There Was A Time, I'd there no kidding! circusboy666
I’ll never see them live again.(I’ve seen them over 10 times and NU era blew this away) I don’t even care that there are no new songs, but the many classics they choose to play he can’t even sing anymore or he sings in a tone that doesn’t work. Too many yes man around him afraid to tell him specific songs sound terrible. He looked physically healthy though… Edited June 4, 2022 by circusboy666
kleber
Was at the concert, saw it till KOHD. Apart from Coma where he didn't sing some songs Axl was OK.

Screamin' Demon
I have another idea; how about they open with Back Off Bitch including pyros with the first lot of drums, Sorry after Welcome To The Jungle & just before Double Talkin' Jive, Locomotive instead of Rocket Queen, Don't Damn Me before You Could Be Mine, There Was A Time just before The Seeker & Paradise City Edited June 5, 2022 by Screamin' Demon
Gordon Comstock
Axl kinda pulled it together for the end of Reckless Life but overall it was pretty rough. Credit where it's due, they changed the set up a bit and Axl didn't have a Hershey-level fuckup, the first show was better than expected. You're Crazy AFD and Walk All Over You are nice additions.
