I have seen NITL 5 times now and this concert is Top 2 (top1 is Prague 2017). I have never seen Axl so energetic, smiling and enjoying himself and performing.. trough out the wholw show!! He had a great day thats for sure! And that is what made this concert so special. Very energetic Axl, while he may be lacking in vocal deparment in some songs, his energetic and fun performance made up for it. Day was extremely hot and I saw lots of people leaving the show early because of dehydrarion sickness. I came in as soon as gates opened and stayed in the shadows until 1 hour before Guns came on. Managed to get to center of the stage something like row 13. Felt amazing being that close to the stage and seeing everything without the need to look at the screens! I was a bit disapointed in not hearing Axl sing WTTJ intro. I think he may accidently switched to band intercom when he was doing the "moaning" intro because nothing came out of the speakers! I liked the pace of the setlist. Good mix of slowing down and speeding up. Highlights for me were Coma and Reckless Life! I went nuts! Axl didnt sing Walk All Over You very well so it kinda would have been a highlight but yeah. Street of Dreams was a nice addition to the setlist! I had a feeling that Slash just didnt properly train/memorize the original solo so he just had to improvise something and it didnt go well. Maybe next time he will do better. All in all I had an amazing concert experience and had tears of joy multiple times during concert! Thank you Axl and Thank you Guns N Roses! A bit too amazing since at the first part of the show they were louder than the band. I think the crowd gave the band some extra energy I was in front of Slashes wah pedal on Richards side about row 6. I saw Axl sing the intro to WJTT but i didnt hear much of it because the crowd was going nuts. This was my 6th post 2016 show and i think its second best too. (1. Bangkok. 2. Prague 22. 3.Tallinn. 4. Lisbon 5.Hämeenlinna 6.Berlin Agree about Axls mood. I never saw him as energetic as he was in Lisbon this year but today was a level up. I caught Richards pick after November Rain!! Epic show. God damn that was rough. Even in the worst periods of 2011-2014, SOD was usually pretty good even when it was 100% Mickey. But fuck lmao. It’s just airless sound coming out with no way of creating the power we’re use to hearing from Axl. He puts his hand on his chest near his throat out of instinct. I’m guessing that’s to help feel his voice so it doesn’t feel like it’s escaping. But there’s no fullness to it.
