I've only heard good stuff about it but haven't seen it yet. Might be a good idea now, ha.

It's a really good show. One of the best in the last couple of years.

Edit: Just to add there's also one on Netflix called Chernobyl 1986. Similar story told from a different perspective. Not as good as the HBO series but still a decent watch.

That's a carbon copy of any war propaganda. Do you remember USA propaganda over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Even now Ukrainian government officials are posting videos from video games as examples of Russian aggression

I'm not defending Russia, they're at fault here. What I'm trying to say, calm down and don't get hyped up about everything you read :D

Regarding comparing Putin to Hitler: There are obviously some similarities (strong man running a country, invading another European country to restore former glory, possibilities of escalation) and then there is lots that is different (geopolitical climate, ideologies). In the context of warning about a situation that could escalate (similar to the situation when Nazi Germany invaded Poland which eventually resulted in a world wear), I suppose it is a fair comparison as long that is how far the comparison is drawn and as long as people don't think anyone making that comparison is trying to make it sound like they are identical.

Snake Island soldiers found to be alive after all

Hah! I always assumed they would be alive! I found it a bit weird to think that war ship would bother to blow that tiny island to smithereens. There is a lot of propaganda on both sides now.

In depth background analysis, absolutely worth watching. Although he was wrong about the scale of a potential invasion (the interview was conducted on Feb. 15), he seems to be spot on about what Putin wants to accomplish as well as about NATO.

He was already saying it in 2015:

He said last week that Russia wouldn’t invade. so…

Russia, bith national team and clubs, suspended from UEFA and FIFA competitions, also basketball clubs suspended...

Shell and BP leaving from Gazprom.

Russia is on its way to be the most isolated country in history. Hope its people find strenght and capability to kick him out of position and make changes in way Russia is run. Because, "Putin" after Putin is not a solutuion...

Yes, it's the same interview I posted and I mentioned it. He thought that a  full scale invasion wasn't very likely and that if there was an invasion, it would be limited to Donbass/Eastern Ukraine. That doesn't mean his overall analysis is wrong, though.

You cannot just bomb capital of state that owns the most nukes in the world...

Chance to minimase situation like this was 15yrs ago when Russia was poor giant , but world waches elsevere...

Now, we can hope that wise men surrounding Putin grow a pair and "remove" him...

Last night, first refugees came to Croatia, and today, first Croatian volunteers reached Ukraine...

Doesn't the US have the most nukes in the world? Anyway, either way you look at it, this is an act of war and all the support of countries isn't help Ukraine save their country nor their people. It's just not right.

The news is saying now Putin's cabinet isn't on board with him, but they are too afraid to do something. Please, Putin planned well ahead for this. He has all his assests hidden and the only thing that will happen is the Russian people will suffer by it.

I will never understand what is happening? Years ago countries declared war with the drop of a hat. I know we all have nuclear weapons and the more evil men continue to fuck with innocents one day someone will start pressing those buttons.

This world is getting worse and worse so maybe pressing a button and ending it all is the right thing to do.

Give China a while and see them invade Taiwan and North Korea is just waiting to invade South Korea too.

The world is made of up many evil people and nothing at this rate will stop them. I truly believe this and I'm scared for my child growing up in this fucked up world.

Yeah, Gov. Abbot told stores to take Russian vodka off their shelves.  I doubt any Texans will care. They mostly drink beer. yeah, this will hurt Putin so much. What a joke!

Putin planned for anything the world is throwing at him. All this is doing is fucking up the Russians more while Putin is allright.

The world was basically given a heads-up a week or two in-advance of the occupation. Why was nothing done to prevent this? I wonder how much the Bidens and Clintons are set to make after all said and done....

And what exactly should have been done?? It's nothing more than extortion anyway, "Do what I want or I will invade your country, because I'm stronger than you."

Russia was given every opportunity to back down and they consistently chose to escalate.

The West is not to blame.

in this case, it's more like "don't protect yourself against our invasion or I will invade you!"
