vloors
SOD was horrible to listen to but I guess you can't polish a Turd. I never liked it on CD either.

Popular Post 42è BCP
It was a really cool show ! Almost three and a half hour long. The setlist was partly different than the show in Paris in 2017 that I did see. Madagascar was a good surprise, BHS a bit less 😅. I was with some if my family who are not hard fans and they found the gig great and enjoyed a lot. Axl had a strong voice on most of the songs but struggled on Better, Coma, LALD ans some other. But otherall i had an awesome moment. 🤟🤟 Edited June 21, 2022 by 42è BCP Images 9 1 1
Popular Post CAFC Nick
Going to write down a few takeaways from my GNR experience #16: - Genuinely the most motivated Axl I’ve seen in years. - Incredible set list, for the most part I genuinely didn’t know what was next. - Only downside was that I was maybe 10 deep from the front barricade and the sound was truly horrific - wasn’t just me that thought this right? Was it any good further back? Made a lot of the detail in the songs v hard to hear.

I know some bands play like 1h30, 1h45 - if Guns did this, I would feel like being robbed and hit in the face at the same time Been on Iron Maiden like a month ago. Great concert, super spectacle and it was only 2h show, it was great and I agree with you who still plays 3,5h show people at home bitchin about while concertgoers enjoy
Popular Post Kranich
All right will share my thoughts on this one. First, Gary Clark Junior is an awful support. Just awful. His concert is such a f'n drag that you lose all your will to attend the rest of the concert. I dunno how but his 45 minutes show seemed more like 2 hours one. Just plain boring. I was the first person to enter the stadium and got the railing slighlty to the right of Axl so my place was great. I am sure Axl hhas a backpain today, cause he was carrying the band on his back so freaking hard. Saw GNR 2 times one in 2017 and one 2018, he was nothing like on this shows. Constantly running dancing, screaming always on the move, to the point where I couldnt take a photo of him for the first 8/9 songs cause he was to bloody fast. After this gig i have to say that he is the best frontman in the world (when he wants to ). Were his vocals always on top? No. Were they good enough to carry the show? Yes. Was he trying as hard as he could? I sure believe so. Even BiB which was a really disappointing choice for me, sounded great. The rest of the band was also great, they sound tight and focused. There is just one bqd thing and the thing on this concert was Slash. I dont know whats going on with him. He screwed 5/6 solos either by playing them out of tempo or noodling. He destroyed 1st SCOM solo, RQ and several others. If Axl seems motivated, then Slash seems like he is playing just another show. He plays everything really fast, which after several solos gets boring and unimaginative. And its really not pleasant to say as he was the guy who got me into playing the guitar, and who influenced me in thousands other ways. Oh and its great that they like Poland for some reason. We always get long setlists, this was once again 3.5 h show, same as in Chorzow in 2018. * One more thing about Axl. You could really tell that its the guy who had all those amazing, crazy performances in the 90's. This performance in Warsaw somehow captured this oldschool Axl vibe. Hyperenergetic, givin all he can to the show. Edited June 21, 2022 by Kranich 6 1

It's not like Richard would take over the show when he plays three or four CD solos. I personally don't care for songs like SOD or Catcher but I'd be disappointed seeing Richard take the leads on TWAT, Sorry or TIL. I read a lot of bullshit day in and day out on this forum about certain things including Slash's takes on those songs but the only thing I trust are my own ears and I'm a big fan of these three solos, especially how they're played on the selects. So no, I don't think it's a good idea if Richard would play every CD solo. He already has his moments on stage every gig.

Popular Post Dean
I've just listened to Street of Dreams and find it amazing how Axl is able to sing it like that at 60. It sounds no worse than it did in 2012.
