Popular Post CAFC Nick
I remember when this first leaked and being completely infatuated with this song; 15 years later still am! Arguably the best solo in GN’R history. Edited August 14, 2021 by CAFC Nick 10 1 4
drlaban
Best track on CD.
AlterL
Can't disagree with that. Although my personal favorite is still prostitute. That song is arguably the main reason I still visit this forum.
EvH
Stellar guitar work, as on the whole album, notwithstanding the relative quality of the songs.
GNRmello77
Nice that they recognise the song, it's absolutely one of the better songs in GN'R catalogue! Love the high vocals in it, the many complex lyrics and the genius solo!
Popular Post SoulMonster
Bucket's ending solo is amazing, but I actually get shivers from Robin's (?) playing in the little repeating bit that is before Bucket's solo, starts at 3:42 and continues all the while until Axl ends singing and Bucket takes over.
ToonGuns
Bucket's solo always sends shivers down my spine. Very restrained, just perfect. Wish we had more Axl + Bucket.
Dani_1455
I really think even It is not popular, that TWAT Is at the level of Civil War,Patience... or some of the "BEST songs" that people say of GNR. I would only put November Rain,Estranged,Don't Cry,Wttj or Ycbm over TWAT. I don't want to say it but I think that TWAT Is the last "Top" Song that we are going to hear of Axl. El Guapo
It's really good, very nice and tasty guitar work.
Dean
Top 3 GNR songs for me. Rose at his very best.

Martin Riggs
There’s a great song in there IMO, but I don’t think the final product was as good as it should’ve been. It’s basically a microcosm of CD as a whole for me. I don’t know if it’s the production or what but the first 2:40 drags to me (even though I like the lyrics). Once the guitars really kick in at that point though it is badass.
jimisbatman
Prefer antiquiet leak over released version, but that's for another page. TWAT is Definitely one of the most underrated gnr songs. Twat + prostitute + Madagascar + OMG is what kept me interested in GNR over all these years of radio silence from Axl.
Popular Post Towelie
I wish they hadn't tacked on that lame choir intro/outro, it sounded much cooler without it.

I LOVE Robin's middle solo on this cut. I consider myself very fortunate to have been at the first Hammerstein show for many reasons, not the least of which is that I got to see Robin play that part. 5

It's Robin indeed. So much feeling in his playing, its by far what makes this song shine (I love Buckets solo, but it's a bit of Bucket cliches pasted together). Also Robin uses a great tone on that bit. 1
agustingloger
Always loved this song! My favourite from Chinese without a doubt. Classic Axl and the guitar solos OH MY
Bitchisback
TWAT is a top 10 GnR tracks for me and I think the highlight of CD. There's so much to love about it. Also lol at Buckethead being #5. And hell yeah to Mastodon being #1!! Jaguar God is EXCELLENT
James Bond
Not that I put too much credibility into Ultimate Guitar, but that's a pretty solid list of overlooked gems. Nice to see some love for one of my favourite Maiden tracks, as well as Alice In Chains. As for There Was A Time? Yes. A monster of a track. Great lyrics, great melodies, and a shining moment on the album for both Robin and Buckethead. I think it speaks for how amazing Buckethead's solo is when even Slash kept all the main melodies intact for his interpretation (considering how Slash completely changed every other CD solo he plays).
ZoSoRose
Pretty cool! I’d put about half of Chinese in the top half of Axls discography
