A little added update on this, I've messaged someone who allegedly worked as an engineer on the album who says Axl played on Metal Chesnut waiting to hear back again to see if it's legit or a troll, likely a troll imo

'Played on' meaning piano? Imagine we finally hear a new Axl and Slash collab... and it's an instrumental with Axl playing a little bit of rhythm guitar or something random. Will he be credited for the sub-bass?

Axl playing some rhythm guitar would be a piss take but imagine him playing some cool blues on the piano with Slash all over it, probably Steven Tyler doing harmonica as well. That could be cool as fuck and I’m not kidding.

Dude I'd love to hear them do a long, piano-driven instrumental song. If they got Steven on harmonica, or even Richard to trade some solos, that would be great. An 8-10 minute instrumental could be amazing.

Is it one of the engineers listed in the credits for Killing Floor?

Everyone knows the SD1 is much better than the TS9

I have a SD2, a TS9 and a TS808 - such a hard choice to pick the 'best'!

1. The Pusher (feat. Chris Robinson) -> Orig Hoyt Axton, done by Nina Simone, Blind Melon
2. Crossroads (feat. Gary Clark Jr.) -> Orig Robert Johnson (Cross Road Blues), done by Clapton, Elmore James
3. Hoochie Coochie Man (feat. Billy Gibbons) -> Orig Muddy Waters (written by Willy Dixon), done by Clapton, BB King, Allman Brothers Band, Buddy Guy...
4. Oh Well (feat. Chris Stapleton) -> Orig Fleetwood Mac, done by Jimmy Page & the Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Deep Purple
5. Key to the Highway (feat. Dorothy) -> Blues traditional? Done by BB King, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Rolling Stones and basically everybody and their momma
6. Awful Dream (feat. Iggy Pop) -> Orig Lightning Hopkins? I don't know this one
7. Born Under a Bad Sign (feat. Paul Rodgers) -> Another blues traditional? Most famous by Albert King I guess? Also recorded by Etta James
8. Papa Was a Rolling Stone (feat. Demi Lovato) -> Orig Undisputed Truth, made famous by The Temptations, also done by Black Crowes
9. Killing Floor (feat. Brian Johnson) -> Orig Howlin Wolf, also an early live staple for Hendrix and Zeppelin iirc
10. Living for the City (feat. Tash Neal) -> Orig Stevie Wonder?
11. Stormy Day (feat. Beth Hart) -> Is this (Call It) Stormy Monday by T-Bone Walker?  If so also done by Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Allman Brothers Band
12. Metal Chestnut -> An original?

Oh man - this is going to be killer!!

The Pusher!! Crossroads!! Cannot wait for this.

Would love to hear Slash play Cocaine. Not sure who would do vocals.

Steven Tyler carries the song, if I'm being honest :D

Guessing he cut this before Stevens vocal injury! However it is strange to have him available and not perform on a track vocally too...Steven loves old skool Fleetwood blues....maybe there'll be bonus cuts like last Slash N Friends...

Fun video and track, good vibes!

This kinda project is exactly the type Guns could try...writers block or apathy, Axl? No excuses not to do a TSI2 type...like an influences record as such. Perhaps Slash even suggested this project to redhead? 🤷

$40 shipped for a signed double vinyl- hell yeah I ordered!

It was $26.50 shipping (so $56.48 USD total) when I looked up.
