Still can't stand Absured and not crazy about the two live songs. Even the band doesn't sound as good playing these songs. What is up with that? Axl is okay, can't hit those high notes anymore. It's quite poor that they've packed it straight into a jiffy bag with no cardboard protection, as a result the card sleeve is now creased in a few places. Disappointing. Hopefully my UK order (Vinyl/CD/Cassette) is packaged more securely to avoid similar damage in transit. I wasn't overly impressed with the live version of Absurd on the flip side. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great. It's still a cool B Side to have. Even though it's not the studio version, this single covers me to where I have at least one version of every song GN'R has released on vinyl.
