Rayno
Well, if THIS is supposed to be a decent (let alone good) performance than I am afraid our expectations got really low.

Popular Post MildlyArtistic
As far as vocal performance goes, I'd say this is pretty in line with how Axl's voice has sounded on these songs since 2017 really. He's looking to be in much better shape physically than at any point in the last decade though!

Popular Post kiwiguns
It's so Axl Rose, and that's what we love about the guy. He has this mystical element to him and he appears at the most random and unexpected places. Given the world we live in today, with a focus on putting your life on full view for all to see via social media, having a person lurking in the shadows and appearing out of know were, makes it more interesting.. The guy is clearly in a good place in life.. Edited May 2, 2022 by kiwiguns 10 1

Popular Post J. Rose
Did anyone notice the rotating arm swing he did on SCOM at stagecoach? Haven’t seen that move since the music video. Talk about nostalgia. It’s the little things, you Gotta love it 🤘🏻 6
Popular Post Mendez
Carrie Underwood forces Axl to do the "Take Me Home" part correctly at least once since the 80s 2

6lake sa66ath
Will be looking out for the patented “rotating arm swing” this summer.

Edit: I mean, there is still no power behind his vocals, and Underwood is simply belting it out better at the start. I don't think the performance sounded like shit at all. And I'm not the kind the of person who gives Axl a free pass. It's always good see him around 2
jamillos
The trouble with him - well, one of the troubles - is that the most iconic songs are exactly in that middle range rasp that he doesn't do (that well) any longer...
Popular Post AXL_N_DIZZY
Axl looking, and sounding very good/great at 60, with his legendary status fully-reinstated (though for most of us it never left obviously). Great to see. Unsolicited advice would be to enjoy it- rather than compare his voice to 2010 or whatever…

If he dropped a tad more weight, had some facial hair and different head of hair, he would be close to the best Axl of all time, the 2006 Axl

She's such a big fan that she labeled this the greatest night of her life. This seemed like a dream come true for her. Here's hoping she'll pay it forward someday for an artist who adores her work. Loved it. I'm a country music fan, but I have limited knowledge of Carrie Underwood too.

To me it is more, setting realistic expectations for a aging rocker with a very demanding vocal style. For modern day Axl who is in his 60, this was not bad honestly
Popular Post GNRfanJen
Haven’t seen it posted yet, but here’s the backstage photo of Axl and Carrie in color. GNRmello77
Nobody is allowed to call Axl fat anymore tho. I. Excited for the Europe tour now even more, maybe he'll get back to crazy moves a bit more now as I love it so much when he does that
