I thought Perhaps would sound great live, but Axl proudly never rehearsed it and fucked it up each time. Monsters at least has the bridge that he'd have to prepare for... he might actually sound good on that, but then only perform it a couple times.

How do you know these are better songs without having heard the final form? But if so, great. I just can’t imagine there are better songs. Oklahoma instrumental sounds pretty cool actually

Every ad I’ve seen for the tour looks more like a music festival than a Slash show, and also minimizes Slash’s name in favor of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. branding. That can’t be doing them any favors. edit: And I know Slash is branding this as a festival, but a single stage festival with 4-5 bands is just a show with a lot of openers in reality. But I think the festival image of it all is making people less interested. I know a lot of people who all write festivals off as bad sound, short sets, too crowded, or all three lol
