I was gonna say, if you’re listening between the lines this blues record is a one off thing but then at the end of this interview with Ola he mentioned that he might do another one with original material. That would be huge. What I dislike is that Teddy’s also singing on this tour. Slash even considered him as the lead singer for the whole blues record until he fortunately came up with the idea of using different singers again.

There’s two ways to see it. You can either argue the leaks are what caused the singles to be released, or you can argue that there isn’t really as large of a vault as there was talked up to be and that the releases overlap because those are just the songs that are done. We don’t have enough information to prove either, in my opinion.    And no, the latter is not a Pele argument. I’m sure there are songs that have some work done that we don’t know about. Whether those are fully finished or realized though is a much different story, and again, there’s just not enough info to know.

Although I have made my jokes, I don't dislike the song. It's just a sonic mess, which I attribute to its releasing during the NITL era. I'm fully convinced that had this released when it should have, back in the ChiDem era, it would sound a whole lot better. But unfortunately, The General is going to be a GnR song I will never listen to more than a few times. I also don't and won't listen to the other NITL singles. I prefer the leaked versions of those songs.
