I've listened to the song a few times now. Never heard of it before. The song is grand and epic. It's right up Axl's alley. I'm excited for his version.

Just because they are in a similar position of not wanting to make statements that commit the band to anything doesn't mean they are in the same position in regards to Axl. In one situation, they had no power to dictate anything but their own inputs, in the other they have equal power, but it only takes one equal part to throw a wrench in the works. Think of it like a romantic relationship; two equals both have equal power to decide the relationship is over, and the other is completely powerless to prevent that. That doesn't mean the other was subservient in the relationship, it just means that it takes two to tango. One missing part makes the whole thing grind to a halt just the same as if that one part were the entire machine. But that doesn't mean the one part IS the entire machine. 

Figured I would throw it out here. But does anyone have a really high resolution image of the back cover of Appetite?  I am getting my new man town in order and I want a poster of that.  All I can find are a couple shitty .jpegs

Slash was just on John Bonamassa's Sirius show.  I didn't hear it all but it was pretty interesting. 

I'm a bit confused with  several of your posts. Are you referring to Nu-GNR and Brian May being employees? Or are you referring to Slash and Duff?  Nu-GNR were definitely employees of Axl. Slash and Duff are not employees. They are partners along with Axl in the corporate entity of GNR. Additionally, I would not refer to Brian May as an employee of Axl. He was more of a freelancer.
