This, I listen to 90% of my music live only... A band is a live band. The studio versions of a song like Double Talkin Jive from say 93 pisses all over the studio version.
Albums are documents, live shows are where the songs breath. All the great bands have been great live bands.
Hell yeah to Taylor and Neil Young boots!!
Awesome scream and imho the most powerful performance of wttj. The raw energy was over the top for the vmas back then. And all the people in the front back then where music or movie stars. They really put on a show for the tv audience and nailed it by being raw and not so polished which what RNR is all about.
As @alfierose said, Slash talked about it a few years ago. In 2010 he kept his hands busy by tweeting back and forth with fans all the time. That (and Nicorette) helped him quit smoking.
Slash totally knew what twitter was in 2009. He was almost a pioneer on it

On a side note, our Slash and Matt, Jack Warren and Will Jones join forces with Former LIVEWIRE, DIRTY DC and BAROCK Brian Johnson and Angus to form AC/DC tribute supergroup Rolling Thunder - the AC/DC show.
Grant Foster is widely regarded as the very best Brian Johnson impersonator touring today and Nick Klose, the very best Angus Young show you are likely to see.
Our Guys play Phil Rudd and Malcolm parts and joined in the rhythm section by Bass maestro Mark Hope and Cliff.

I am gonna be honest, this AC/DC show is exiting, Top f**kin draw.
Yo. Any mygnrforum folks interested in having a group Skype call the night of the Rock in Rio stream to bask in the hype together? Also, a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament before the show starts for those of us who have that game and Nintendo Switches.
