    • New Todd Kerns blog: "SMKC knew about this for 'some time', we still plan to record new album in May, Release in 2017"
That's kind of what I'm saying in that Conspirators and DC are signs of a lack of fight night preparation. GNR just feels like a job. That's kind of okay. Everyone's old and shit. In that case don't do new material. Just put out a Best of and tour.
    • Do you want 'One in a Million' in the setlist?
Yes, amazing song... would get the controversial side of GNR back and it means a lot more media to the tour and the album (if we get one).
To play this song is to get free promotion cause the world is full of pussies that will be offended to any-fucking-thing, waaaay more offended than the 80s and this is actually good.

We need this kind of shit these days, everyone is so fucking sissy lately.
I mean, I'm not racist or homophobic, but danm... I hate all these drama queens that complain about anything.

I used to be fat as fuck, got mocked in school and shit but I had the guts to move on without crying... and adult people cry about anything these days, its just ridiculous.
    • Amber Heard divorces Johnny Depp
I agree, she has so much more to lose. It's not as if this is an actor 'on her level', Johnny is a huge A-list actor (regardless of the recent underperformance of his films). She would know that accusing him could end her career and lead to mass amounts of hate aimed at her. I think it says a lot that people are willing to believe that she made up a story of abuse, hit herself in the face, convince a neighbour to give a false statement (to obtain the restraining order) and open herself up to this level of doubt and disrespect... instead of being willing to believe that Johnny Depp isn't as nice as they thought he was.
    • GNR Women's discussion
I had a similar experience. I remember Slash and Duff saying that they referred to Axl telling a story as a "Twain wreck" because he was as long-winded as Mark Twain. I was like "Literature joke from the guys in GnR?! Huh, interesting." But that's a thing I've always liked about them. Even if they don't always show it, most of them do have some brains. You could have actual conversations about literature and their favorite books with them, for example. Duff, Axl and Slash all like to read and have talked about that topic in the past. Some of them extensively even. I was very amused by Duff's endless list of great books that he shared in his own book.   I can't imagine the same thing with most other guys from 80s metal bands. Maybe I'm being mean, but I'm not sure if Vince Neil and others would even have a favorite book to talk about (No idea about Izzy though. But he comes across as a guy with a good head on his shoulders and some common sense.)   And yes, Axl and Duff seem to have a special connection. There's always a lot of focus put on Axl and Slash's relationship, and Axl and Izzy's, but I think Axl and Duff's deserves some attention as well.
